because of a semantic error such as an
incompatibility with the existing WMI
repository or an actual error such as
the failure of the WMI server to
start.

解决方法

我从http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2438651下载了便携式(在没有安装的任何基于窗口的计算机上可执行)“程序安装和卸载故障排除程序”(Windows Installer清理实用程序的替代)并执行了Fixit.exe.重复了名为“修复无法安装或卸载的程序的问题”的选项,以卸载SQL Server 2008注册表项.之后,我安装了成功完成的SQL Server 2008.
