Note: the row between two word rows indicate alignment where:

• A space or lack thereof indicates that a letter is aligned to a gap;

• A dot . indicates that the two letters are dissimilar;

• A colon : indicates that the two letters are similar and the alignment is pridictable from sound laws; and

• A vertical bar | indicates that the letters and their corresponding pronunciations are the same in the two rows and no sound law should predict any sound change to have happened since the common ancestor of the two languages in either branch.
