如果我去服务器(Linode上的Debian 6 32bit,Linux 3.5.2-linode45)并运行bundle exec gem install libv8 -v’3.11.8.9′,它将失败：

目前,我必须指定旧版本的therubyracer& libv8为了让我的部署成功：

似乎this Issue可能是相关的.

解决方法

事情在2013年1月7日整理好了……但是一天之后一切又崩溃了.在那之后的另一天,看起来事情又回到了一起！

therubyracer v0.11.1现在再次依赖于libv8 gem.所以,我的Gemfile已更改为：

group :production,:staging do
  gem 'therubyracer'
end

这将安装最新版本的therubyracer(v0.11.1)以及最新版本的libv8(v3.11.8.13).这完全解决了我的问题 – 所以,therubyracer v0.11.1& libv8 v3.11.8.13 gems安装得很好.

如果情况并非如此,那么仍有选择.对于仍未部署的Rails应用程序,我已经取得了成功：

group :production do
  gem 'libv8','3.11.8.10'
  gem 'therubyracer'
end

也可以(并且可能是更好的选择)只需坚持使用已知良好的版本,直到通过将Gemfile更改为：

group :production do
  gem 'therubyracer','0.10.2'
end
