You can encounter this error when you try to create a project in Flash Builder's default workspace: "org.eclipse.core.internal.preferences.EclipsePreferences cannot be cast to org.eclipse.core.internal.resources.ProjectPreferences"

This error occurs if you have installed Flash Builder in a path that has double-byte characters such as Japanese kanji or Chinese hanzi.

?Switch to a different workspace by following these steps:

In Flash Builder,select? File > Switch Workspace > Other.?

Browse to or enter a new workspace location. You can also choose a previously selected workspace.?

Once you switch to a different workspace,you can switch back to Flash Builder's default workspace,if necessary.
