Cassandra-1.2.0安装与配置

1、安装Cassandra

$ wget http://mirrors.tuna.tsinghua.edu.cn/apache/cassandra/1.2.0/apache-cassandra-1.2.0-bin.tar.gz

$ tar zxvf apache-cassandra-1.2.0-bin.tar.gz

2、配置(基本上按照http://wiki.apache.org/cassandra/GettingStarted)，需要注意的是：

• 在conf/cassandra.yaml文件中配置data_file_directories，saved_caches_directory，commitlog_directory配置的目录要存在，不然启动时会报错。
• 启动的时候可能会有(我用的是jrockit)Unknown option or illegal argument: -XX:ThreadPriorityPolicy=42.Unknown option or illegal argument: -Xmn200M，Unknown option or illegal argument: -XX:+UseParNewGC.Unknown option or illegal argument: -XX:+UseConcMarkSweepGC.Unknown option or illegal argument: -XX:+CMSParallelRemarkEnabled.等异常出现，可以在cassandra-env.sh中将有相关的关键字那一行注释掉
  

3、启动

在启动的时候会报“FSReadError in */data/system/local/system-local-ia-1-Data.db”，“Caused by: java.io.IOException: Bad file descriptor”，“Caused by: java.io.IOException: Bad file descriptor”等异常。

我是最后参考https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/CASSANDRA-4944解决。原因跟JDK版本有关，用jdk-6u30-linux-x64解决了。
